Breaking News! 23-year-old Sourabhee Debbarma made history by winning the Indian Idol 4 tonight. Sourabhee, who hails from Agartala, is the first girl to win the Indian Idol reality show.
Sourabhee beat fellow finalists Torsha Sarkar and Kapil Thapa to win the coveted crown. Kapil Thapa from Dehradun finished second, while Torsha Sarkar from Asansol (West Bengal) had to be content with the third position.
Sourabhee, who held an edge over her fellow contestants throughout the reality show, won a contract of Rs. 1 crore with Sony Music with this win.
