Sarwan double century frustrates England

Bridgetown, Mar 01: Ramnaresh Sarwan struck the second Test double century of his career to lead West Indies to 483 for five at lunch on the fourth day of the fourth Test against England in Barbados on Sunday.

Sarwan moved from 184 to 229 in the morning session, ably supported by wicketkeeper Denesh Ramdin who went in unbeaten on 56 at the interval.

They have added 149 runs to frustrate England`s hopes of levelling the series.

England made 600 for six declared in their first innings and have a lead of 117 runs but unless some surprises emerge on a track that has been placid until now, a draw looks the most likely outcome.
