Home Minister P. Chidambaram rejects Pakistani Navy Chief's Statement

New Delhi (24/7 News Network): Breaking News! Union Home Minister P. Chidambaram held a press conference in New Delhi to brief on India's internal and external security situation. Chidambaram said that formal answers to Pakistan's questions on 26/11 dossier will be given next week.

Mr. Chidambaram rejected Pakistan Navy Chief Noman Bashir's claims that Ajmal Amir Kasab did not come to India via sea route. "Whatever Pakistani Navy Chief said, will be denied tomorrow. Let's not give much importance to this statement, as they kept talking in different voices. Our 26/11 terror dossier is irrefutable", said Chidambaram.

The Pakistani Navy Chief had earlier termed the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks as Indian Navy's failure. He contradicted his own government's stand on Mohammad Ajmal Amir Kasab and other 26/11 terrorists.

Chidambaram also made it clear that there is movement of Bangladesh Rifles (BDR) inside India. "Whatever happened in Bangladesh, is the internal matter of that country, India should not be affected by this", he said.
